He was very responsive in the beginning and helped me lay out a really helpful study plan, but it wasn't worth $80. We met twice - the 1st time, we drew out a timeline of my study plan and he talked about was how he helped other students; the 2nd time, I barely made a dent in the study plan and had nothing to go over during our tutoring session, but it was too late to cancel. When he got to my house I explained and he understood, but we ended up talking for almost an hour about how he was able to raise students' score by 25+ points! This made me super hopeful and he seemed to want to help. Then we had some scheduling conflicts for a few weeks until finally my exam was 2 weeks away - I texted him a few times over the weekend and got no response (after him being so responsive when I first contacted him). I left him a voicemail too and never heard back. He blatantly ignored me and failed to provide the tutoring services he offered! I feel like I literally paid him to talk about other students' success stories instead of actually tutoring me...luckily I was able to get a refund for my first lesson. I just recently passed the section I hired him for.
